Mr. Ghai is the chairman of DDS Wireless, a company he founded in 1987. Before that, he led the development and commercialization of the world’s first wireless and completely automated taxi dispatch system from 1978 to 1986. Before that, Mr. Ghai was involved in several projects and products in Supervisory control and data acquisition systems (“SCADA”) for the oil and gas and telecom industries. Mr. Ghai is a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.

DDS Wireless was founded and started offering software solutions to the taxi industry.

2000

DDS bought the Transportation Division of MDSI and started the UK & Singapore office.

2003

DDS was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

2008

DDS acquires Stratagen Systems Inc. and Mobisoft OY.

2014

DDS becomes a privately held company again.

2023

DDS continues to innovate, providing high-value Software-as-a-Service solutions to its customers in the transit, taxi, and home-to-school markets.
