Vari Ghai, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Vari GhaiMr. Ghai has been actively involved in the wireless mobile data industry for over 30 years and is the founder of the Company. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Ghai held a number of positions at Mobile Data International Inc. (now Motorola Inc.) starting in 1985 as President, Taxi Division. From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Ghai held the positions of Business Manager for Application Products and Director of Marketing at Motorola Inc. for the transportation industry. Mr. Ghai was Vice-President of Engineering (Mobile Data Division) for Glenayre Electronics Ltd. from 1989 to 1991. From 1978 to 1985, Mr. Ghai was employed by Datap Systems (a software engineering company) of Calgary, Canada, where he held several positions, including Senior Project Manager. Mr. Ghai has an Electrical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, and is a registered Professional Engineer.
James Topham, Director
James Topham Mr. Topham is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of public practice experience and was a Technology Partner of KPMG’s Vancouver office prior to his retirement in 2008. Mr. Topham currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of dpoint Technologies Inc., an energy recovery company, and serves on the board of directors of three publicly traded companies: Day4 Energy Inc., Epic Data International Inc, and Norsat International Inc. Mr. Topham was a founder and, for the first nine years, a director of the B.C. Technology Industry Association (“BCTIA”). In 2003, Mr Topham founded the predecessor to the BC Cleantech CEO Alliance to promote the cleantech industry in B.C. He is also a founder of B.C. Social Venture Partners which has raised several million dollars towards funding specific community projects. Mr. Topham has a computer science major and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours and was the most distinguished graduate from the Commerce Faculty of the University of Saskatchewan (1972).
Heikki Karintaus, Director
Heikki KarintausMr. Karintaus is a former Managing Director and founder of Mobisoft Ltd which was acquired by DDS Wireless 2007. Mr. Karintaus has more than 20 years experience in taxi and para-transit dispatching and fleet management systems. He introduced several revolutionary solutions for these markets such as subscription based ASP/SaaS solutions and solutions using public data networks.

Mr. Karintaus also has extensive experience with multinational projects funded by EU/European Commission to develop novel telematics and logistics solutions for the public transportation sector. He is recognized as a pioneer in establishing and developing demand response transportation solutions in the European market and has participated along with Mobisoft in a number of EU sponsored projects in this sector.

Mr. Karintaus holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology (Department of Software Systems and Department of Business and Technology Management), Finland. He is a member of the Commission and the ICT-committee of the Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mark Joseph, Director
Mark JosephMr. Joseph is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, Veolia Transportation North America, and Chief Executive Officer, Veolia Transportation on Demand. Veolia Transportation North America is the largest multi-modal transportation company on the continent, operating bus, rail, paratransit, shuttle and taxi companies under contract to 150 cities, counties and airports. The company has 17,000 employees and 3,000 independent contractors. Mr. Joseph's experience in the transportation industry dates back to the 1970s when he held various management positions with Yellow Cab Company, Baltimore. In addition to his achievements in providing cutting-edge transportation solutions, Mr. Joseph has a track record in public service that includes serving on the Maryland Economic Development Commission Board (2000), Maryland Tourism Development Board of the Department of Business and Economic Development (1999), Access Spectrum Management ($100 million - wireless business) Board (1998-1999), The Industrial Telecommunications Association (1998-1999), and was President of Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association (1997).
Sal Visca, Director
Sal ViscaSal Visca is a Principal Consultant for “Software CTO Inc”, a consultancy providing technology strategy and architecture advisory services.  Currently, he serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Elastic Path Software after several years as CTO for SAP’s Technology Development division and CTO at Business Objects prior to the acquisition by SAP.  Previously,  Mr. Visca was the CTO and Co-President of Infowave Software as well as being with IBM for 12 years where he was Software Development Executive for e-business solutions. 

Mr. Visca has a proven track record for developing product and technology roadmaps, understanding emerging markets and technologies, conceiving, designing, testing and bringing to market new customer-oriented products and solutions. Mr. Visca has over twenty-three years of intensive software development experience with specific emphasis on creating long-term product and technology strategies.
